What is “Short Run” book production?
“Short run” is a term used to describe printing in small quantity. As a short run book producer, we offer a minimum order of 10 hard cover copies or 10 paperback copies. Other popular options are coil binding and saddle stitch binding. The advantage of producing your book in short run is the ability to test market the book to assess its potential. It is no longer necessary for authors to order large quantities of books and expose themselves to unnecessary financial risk.
Do I supply my child's page layout?
Sometimes the parents want to design the layout themselves for their child's book. This is okay with us, but if you would rather YWW design the layout instead, this is okay as well. Our service comes with the layout design as part of the package.
Do you offer book cover design?
Yes. Our designers provide professional cover design at no additional cost to our customers who are having their books produced with us. If you require the cover design or page layout service on its own, click here.
How do I go about getting a copyright for my child's book?
We provide copyright protection, ISBN numbers, bar codes, and the LCCN for your child's book.
What is a proof?
A proof is an actual copy of your completed book. The purpose of a proof is to check for errors before the book is in full publications. The proof copy will not contain the ISBN or LCCN. These will be added later on the finished product.
Do I receive a pdf of my child's book?
Yes. We will provide a pdf copy of your book and cover image for your approval.

How long does the process take?
Every job has its own unique set of variables. Once you sign off on the approval for the final draft, you should have your books in hand about 4-7 days.
Do I maintain the rights to my child's book?
Absolutely. At no time do you ever lose the complete rights to your book.
Once I've had my book produced, is getting it re-printed difficult?
No. Once your book has been produced, it is stored at our facilities as a digital file. A simple phone call is all it takes to have your book reprinted.
